Nigel Gill"I have lived in North West Leeds all my life and am committed to campaigning with local residents and communities to get a fair deal for the people of Adel and Wharfedale ward."

Nigel went to a local secondary school and has had various jobs in different parts of North West Leeds. As Shift Manager at Leeds Bradford Airport he gained valuable insight into the role of the airport in the local economy, and the environmental issues posed by airport expansion.

Nigel was a Town Councillor in Otley from 2003 to 2007, working hard to represent the interests of local residents, tackling issues such as as anti-social behaviour, public transport, environmental issues and recycling. He is an experienced campaigner who has worked with community groups on a range of issues including combating climate change, securing better public services and improving local sports and community facilities. He has been an active campaigner for better public transport links between Leeds city centre and the outer areas of Leeds North West.
